Ghostwriting “Converge”

The creation of "Converge," published by Wiley, was a major content undertaking by the leaders of Razorfish, a leading digital marketing agency.

The book brought to life the thinking going on in various parts of the company, in a narrative that both looked to the future and was grounded in contemporary case studies. It touched on creativity, data, cloud computing, retail, and how to change internal processes to keep up with the pace of change. It featured the insights of both Razorfish executives and leading brand marketers.

We had 3 months from the signing of the contract to the handing over of the finished manuscript.

My role:

Planned and outlined the book. Conducted interviews. Wrote the book, including jacket copy. Contributed to the promotional program with op-ed pieces, including major hits in Fast Company and WWD.

The publication of “Converge” created PR and content opportunities.

Fast Company asked for a high-level overview of the content, which I crafted here.

WWD, the business bible of the fashion industry, asked for a more retail-focused content piece, which lives here.
